Optical Line Terminal (OLT)
UTStarcom’s GEPON portfolio delivers high-speed voice, data and video services to residential and business subscribers. The platform, comprising Optical Line Terminal (OLT) and Optical Network Unit (ONU), represents a high-speed FTTx solution and an alternative or adjunct to xDSL access. FTTx, or GEPON in particular, supports multiple applications and services including VoIP, enterprise focused services, “Triple Play” services and RF Overlay, among others.
UTStarcom’s BBS 4000 and BBS1000+ are the flagship GEPON OLT platforms and are designed to meet varied deployment and service needs for service providers. UTStarcom’s BBS 4000 and BBS 1000+ can simultaneously deliver IPTV, VoIP, POTS and high-speed broadband access.
