Multi Dwelling Unit
UTStarcom provides ONUs supporting cost-effective GEPON customer premise solutions designed for installation in multi tenant unit/ multi dwelling buildings. The solutions provide 100Mbps broadband services to a connected subscriber’s gateway and/or computers. The ONUs provide 10/100M Base-T Ethernet ports with advanced L2 functionality for Data and IPTV video services, and are configured and managed remotely via the UTStarcom BBS product family (OLT).
ONU 2024i
The ONU 2024i is suited for the residential and SOHO/Building markets. The device provides an uplink to the central office through its GEPON port, and a downlink to the individual residential user or SOHO/Building through four Ethernet ports, providing comprehensive L2 switching, QoS and Security Features for SOHO/Building Applications. A future-proof cost effective solution enabling FTTx, ONU 2024i delivers high rate data and IPTV over a single fiber.
Applications
The ONU 2024 provides a redundant pair of uplinks to the central office via either GEPON or Gigabit Ethernet ports, and 24 downlinks to residential users through fast Ethernet ports.
The UTStarcom ONU 2024i is a cost-effective GEPON customer premise device designed for installation in multi tenant unit/ multi dwelling building. The device supplies 100Mbps broadband service to a connected subscriber’s gateway and/or computers. The ONU2024i has modular design and provides pair slots so customers can plug in two GigBit GEPON ONU modules or GigBit Ethernet modules. Additionally, the ONU2024i supports 24 10/100Base-T Ethernet interfaces for data communication. The ONU 2024i is configured and managed remotely via UTStarcom BBS family (OLT).
