Implicity Compact
Leveraging the success and scalability of the Implicity™ platform, UTStarcom created the Implicity Compact product designed as a new standalone, single-server messaging system to address the needs of Tier-2 and Tier-3 carriers and, in general, smaller or distributed deployments.
Technical
The Implicity Compact product supports deployments of up to 100,000 subscribers with or without redundancy. The Implicity Compact product is based on the same functional components that make up the Implicity product, implemented in a single server platform. The smaller footprint solution benefits service providers in need of a feature rich, next generation network (NGN) replacement to their aging legacy voice mail systems. While using this solution, smaller carriers can implement UTStarcom’s renowned IP Messaging features at a very competitive price point, making it the preferred replacement solution for smaller Voice Mail deployments.
Carriers selecting the Implicity Compact product will enjoy the reliability and feature set of the UTStarcom Implicity IP Messaging system, and expanding it to support larger deployments is as simple as adding dedicated servers. There is no need to “forklift upgrade” the system to augment the capacity of the system.
The Implicity Compact product enables service providers to deploy IP Messaging in basic, small-scale systems or in complex, fully redundant, large-scale distributed or centralized systems. This support is provided through an open SIP-based architecture for telephone user interface (TUI) access, Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP)-based architecture for web access, and support for many standard telecommunication and Internet protocols.
