Basic Messaging
Basic messaging systems allow subscribers to access voice and fax messages from a single mailbox regardless of the device or network. Subscribers can retrieve messages by using a fixed-line or mobile phone, PC, PDA or Web browser, delivered over the PSTN or IP networks.
Basic messaging on the Implicity™ system and the 8250 Personal Communications Management System includes the following:
- Voice and Facsimile Message Deposit.
- Voice and Facsimile Message Retrieval.
- Support for urgent, private, and system messages.
- Future delivery messages: Schedule messages to be delivered at a later time.
- Message notification.
- Personal greetings (including scheduled greetings, extended absence greetings, and busy greetings).
- Alias accounts.
- Distribution Lists.
