Unified Communication

The UTStarcom Unified Messaging solution enables users to access all of their voice, email, video mail, and fax messages from a single mailbox regardless of the device or network. Subscribers can retrieve messages by using a fixed-line or mobile phone, PC, PDA or Web browser, delivered over the PSTN or IP networks. Subscribers can also use advanced features like video messaging, find-me-follow-me, voicemail-over-email, and voice-to-text, among others.

A unified messaging approach to subscribers provides:

• One place from which subscribers retrieve all types of messages.
• Advanced features including:
  • Video messaging
  • Find-me-follow-me: forwards unanswered calls from one number to another based on the caller, call type, time or day
  • Voicemail-over-email: forwards voice mail as a .wav attachment to an email message
  • Voice-to-text: transcribes voicemail into text which can then be sent as an email message
