UTStarcom’s NetRing® Optical solutions provide scalable, cost-effective transport elements based upon SDH/SONET. These solutions support transmission speeds ranging from 155 Mb/s to 10 GB/s and enable multi-speed integrated transport for TDM, 10/100/1000M Ethernet and ATM services.

Ethernet based service delivery

• Ethernet is the ubiquitous transport interface for the new generation of consumer and business services and carrier networks require solutions optimized for Ethernet. NetRing solutions provide Ethernet interface and provides QoS with guaranteed bandwidth and dynamic bandwidth adjustment via LCAS

Point to Multipoint aggregation

• NetRing solutions also provide PTMP aggregation with L2 switching capability built-in
