The information below lists training delivery options available from UTStarcom:

• Hosted Training Formal technical courses can be delivered at a UTStarcom's Technical Education Center


• Suitcased Training A hands-on lab can be “suitcased” to a customer specified location. This traveling lab provides an environment to conduct formal classroom training in essentially the same environment as would be provided at a UTStarcom’s training center. Due to the complexity of the lab set-up for certain technologies, suitcased training at customer locations for some classes may not be offered.


• Informal Onsite Training This training involves informal information transfer between a UTStarcom engineer and a small number of Customer personnel. Informal training typically makes use of a Customer owned system (a lab system, or in some cases a production system), and is scheduled as an extension of an onsite installation or upgrade project.


• Web Delivery Training delivered over the Internet, in a seminar format. Web delivery includes interaction with the instructor, both verbal and electronic. Web delivery is suitable for course content that can reasonably be delivered without hands-on labs, and that can be completed in four hours or less.
  
• Handbooks UTStarcom can prepare customized documentation, such as handbooks.
