Air Traffic Controller (ATC)

The ATC enables mobility in the UTStarcom Personal Access System (PAS™) network. The ATC interconnects multiple Wireless Remote Terminals (WRT)s and routes all incoming and outgoing calls between the Local Exchange (LE) where the subscriber is registered and the service areas where the subscriber roams. The ATC is also used to connect calls to the Data Remote Wireless Terminal (DWRT) to be routed to the Personal Handyphone System Internet Access Forum Standard (PIAFS) Internet Access Gateway (iAG) / Remote Access Server (RAS) for data calls.
