10mW Pico Cell Station
UTStarcom’s Personal Access System (PAS™) and IP-based Personal Access System (iPAS) systems use the same Radio Frequency (RF) Access, known as Radio Access, elements. Cell Stations (CS)s and Cell Station Controller (CSC)s are used to provide service via the Personal Handyphone System (PHS) industry standard common air interface.
The Pico Cell Station (PCS20) is designed for deployment in both outdoor and indoor locations. A single PCS20 supports 1 Control Channel and 3 Traffic Channels (1C3T). The PCS20 is typically installed with small Omni antennas to optimize traffic capacity, but other types of antennas can be used depending upon the desired application.
Technical
The power output is adjustable from 10 to 20mW. Power is provided from the Cell Station Controller (CSC) over the telephone line. Two PCS20s can be grouped together to provide a 1 Control 7 Traffic (1C7T) channel configuration and supports PHS channels in the 1893 MHz ~ 1920 MHz range.
