500mW CS-M7 Cell Station
UTStarcom’s Personal Access System (PAS™) and IP-based Personal Access System (iPAS) systems use the same Radio Frequency (RF) Access, known as Radio Access, elements. Cell Stations (CS)s and Cell Station Controller (CSC)s are used to provide service via the Personal Handyphone System (PHS) industry standard common air interface.
The 500mW CS-M7 Cell Station is an outdoor unit with the ability to provide support for 1 Control Channel and 7 Traffic Channels (1C7T).
Technical
Based on the configuration, up to 7 subscribers can make simultaneous calls under one CS-M7. The CS-M7 can be deployed in a co-located group where two can share a single Control Channel and deliver 15 Traffic Channels (1C15T) or three can share the same control channel for a 1C23T configuration. The CS-M7 transmits an average power of 500mW with the ability to reduce power output via software control. The CS-M7 operates on 154 to 288 VAC and supports PHS channels in the 1880 to 1920 MHz range.
