(Nasdaq: UTSI), unveils one of the thinnest, lightest, most attractive,
functional and convenient models on the cell phone market. UTStarcom's next
generation device is one of the thinnest CDMA bar-style camera phones in the
U.S., measuring just 0.4' thin. The phone makes its debut at the UTStarcom
Personal Communications booth (#3962) at CTIA Wireless March 27-29 in Orlando,
FL.

Ultra-Thin CDMA Camera Phone with Bluetooth Technology Revealed at CTIA Wireless

Slim enough to slip into a designer wristlet or shirt front pocket, the
new handset measures 4.4' (h) x 1.9' (w) x 0.4' (d), weighs a mere 2.5 ounces,
and has an internal antenna which contributes toward its sleek form factor.
This compact handset doesn't scrimp on features. It is equipped with
Bluetooth(R) technology for wire-free hands-free calling; Web browsing powered
by Openwave 6.3.0.7; and other popular features such as a built-in
speakerphone and voice-activated dialing.

'The saying 'best things come in small packages' holds true with this
device,' says

Communications. 'This phone will offer high-end design and functionality, but
not a high price.'

Cell phone and camera in one, this mobile device features a VGA CMOS
camera and a 1.8' 65K Color TFT (128 x 160) color main display that supports
JPG, PNG, GIF87, and BMP video formats. Users can download their favorite
polyphonic ringtones (CMX 72) in MIDI, MP3, QCP, CMX, and PMD audio formats.

Equipped with the MSM6125L chipset, the bar-style phone has a 64 MB
Flash/32 MB RAM memory capacity. Other features include text messaging with
T9 predictive text, voice memo, a 500-entry phone book, two pre-loaded games,
TTY/TTD capabilities and E911 support.
